- Our fresh produce has exceptional flavour because as an Organic farm we look after the health of the soil and our animals as naturally as possible, and refrain from using artificial chemicals and intensive techniques.
- Our animals are truly free-range, and in some cases, of older more unusual and traditional breeds. This adds to the intensity of flavour of the meat.
- The milk from our cows is bought by the Organic Milk Suppliers Co-operative, whose customers include well known Organic dairy brands such as Yeo Valley.
- Due to the huge success of his butchery,
Legges
of Bromyard (which is run by our son, Anthony) has recently
moved into larger premises in Tenbury Road, Bromyard. There you
can buy Shortwood Farm free range pork and organic eggs as well
as local beef, lamb and organic vegetables, local cheeses, beers
and wines, home made pies and pasties, fresh bread, milk and fish. To
