African Farmyard

We've constructed a replica of an African farmyard (see images below) to demonstrate how the recipients of the Send a Cow charity care for their livestock, grow vegetables and collect water. The farmyard has a traditional African cow shelter with resting and exercise areas and there are keyhole and bag gardens to show how vegetables are grown organically using homemade compost.

There is an information booth explaining about how the Send a Cow charity works (enabling families to overcome poverty through self-help programmes).
